Junior Perpetual Trophies

Junior Player of the Year - Female and Male

This trophy is awarded to a player who has demonstrated the folliwng attributes during the season:

• player with good attitude towards training and playing
• good team player and supportive of others
• regular attendance at training and games
• attentive to coaching and willing to learn
• participated in additional training opportunities when provided
• significant potential for future development

Keith Kemp Most Improved Junior Player

This trophy is awarded to a player who has demonstrated the following attributes during the season:

• improvement in playing performance over the season (in terms of skill and ‘for the team’ factors)
• commitment and effort at training and games
• willingness to listen and learn at training and games
• general team behaviour and improvement (ie relating to others in the team, coach and officials)
• any other factors taking into account improvement in skill, leadership and team participation

Junior Club Person of the Year

This trophy is awarded to a player who has participated/volunteered at Club activities throughout the season such as:

• umpiring
• coaching
• helping with Junior Development Activities
• maintaining equipment and putting away gear
• volunteering for Club activities and participation in fundraising
• attendance at Club training
• attendance at Club games
• good team player
• provides assistance to other team members
• presents a good image to other players and to other Clubs
• good attitude on and off the field
• attendance at Junior functions
• promotion of the Club and improvement of the Club’s reputation
• shows an interest in other Club teams (such as attendance at these games).
